Buscar Online Booking; All You Need To Know.

Buscar Online booking is something that I began investigating during the 2019 December Holiday. You see, I have been getting many calls from people who wanted to travel but had not secured a seat on any bus.

During the end year celebrations, Kenyans like salmon bent on breeding, will anyways want to travel home for the holidays. Moreover, in all directions they will want to leave the major cities back to their roots.

If you are visiting this site for the first time, then it may be comforting to know that there are other bus companies at your disposal. However, this depends largely on your destination.

Before we delve deeper into Buscar online booking, you may want to consider;

You can also read about Madaraka Express(train booking) booking, especially if are heading to the coast, this is a good option.

Buscar online booking; a step-by-step guide.

If you have made your mind that you want to book a seat on Buscar and you want to do it online, then I have bad news for you. Their online booking portal does not work.  The best bet is to go to their offices physically. I tried their online booking portal located at here (you will need to follow the link) but I could not manage to secure a seat. You too can try it out and see for yourself.

You have one last shot though if you really want to do it online, try iabiri.com that is if you are lucky.

Office locations and Contacts

Now that you know that the booking portal is as good as dead, you have only one option, to go to their offices.

You can find their offices located at these places below.

Nairobi- Their offices are at the junction of Accra road and Charles Rubia Road (do not confuse with Charles Rubia Lane). In case you are lost, it is within the same area the other bus companies such as Dreamline and Modern Coast have their offices just after River road. In fact, Buscar offices are directly opposite Modern Coast Offices across Accra Road.

Cell: 0718 127 350

There are offices also in

  • Mombasa, Cell: 0717 073 333.
  • Nakuru, Cell: 0725 909 031, 0719 680 853.
  • Kisumu
  • Kampala
  • Busia.

Destinations

To what destinations does Buscar plier? Here is a list of town and cities the bus operates to.

  • Malindi
  • Mtwapa
  • Mombasa
  • Kilifi
  • Voi
  • Nairobi
  • Nakuru
  • Bumula
  • Eldoret
  • Busia.
  • Luanda
  • Kisumu
  • Mayueni
  • Timboni
  • Kanduyi
  • Webuye
  • Kampala

Fares

My effort to get fares to destinations did not yield any results. However, my guess is that their fares are within other bus companies such as modern Coast and Dreamline bus companies.

Conclusion

Buscar is a bus company that is like a beautiful maiden who does not understand herself. Though they have some of the beautiful buses on the Kenyan roads, with very good safety records, very little can be found online about them. I stumbled on two websites that seem to be pointing to the company, however I could not tell which among them is the genuine one. Even so, both websites have very little information.

That said, it only seems that booking Buscar online is not an option. All you have to do is literally go to their offices above and book a seat physically. Moreover, most of the reviews I found were positive. However, I found this one that maybe is a reflection of the company.

This is from a Facebook user Bonnie Bundi Blessed. He says,

” I have been trying to book online entire day but not working. I have already paid for the seat. Check mpesa code NC90EAF0EM. Nrb to kla, 5:00 pm bus.’’

Maybe you get a picture of what I am talking about.

If you have ever traveled on Buscar, what has been your online booking experience been like? How are the buses? How was the journey?

I would be glad to hear your story so that I can share with other travelers. If you do not want to share it here, go to ‘Contact Us’ page and get in touch with me directly.

If you found your ticket, safe journey!
