2 Ways To Disable Safaricom No Active Data Bundle Notification

0

How do I disable the Safaricom no active data bundle notification? If this a question that has been bothering you, then relax you will shortly have an answer.

There is nothing annoying than having that zero data bundle notification that come to us every night from Safaricom.

This annoying reminder will come up very aggressively through a pop up window and will paralyze your screen activity until you remove it. Almost immediately, you will get an SMS message from Safaricom to the same effect.

And many of you Safaricom customers attest to the fact that this notorious notification is a culprit in draining many a phones through the night and can be very irritating.

This is because the notification will stick on the screen and will remain there until you cancel it. If you do not, it keeps your phone screen on all night long.

This has been so much a bother to many of us, so much that many of you have taken to Facebook and Twitter to pour out you anger.

Luckily, I have a solution for this.

The 2 ways to disable Safaricom No Active Data Bundle Notification.

You have two options to disable these notifications. One of the involves taking control of your data manager and doing a few steps.

In other words, you are taking control of how you consume your data.

  1. Switch of the Safaricom Data Manager
  2. Dial *544#.
  3. Select Option 4: Data (NO EXPIRY).
  4. Select Option 5: My Data Manager.
  5. Select Option 2: Don’t Browse without a data bundle.
  6. Reply with 2 to Deactivate the Manager.

Please note that switching off the Data Manager will result in you air time being consumed and depleted so fast. Safaricom is a hungry cow that consumes data like water.

The remedy to this would be to switch on data only when you need it. Alternatively, you can also consider the method below.

  • Disable Wi-Fi Assistant
  • Go to your device’s Settings.
  • Tap Wi-Fi.
  • Below the Wi-Fi toggle is a button labelled Wi-Fi Assistant.
  • Tap it then tap ‘Select best networks automatically’.
  • This will direct to another screen with a toggle also labelled ‘Select best networks automatically’.
  • Switch it off if it is on.
  • You will then have to make sure your data is off every time at midnight so that the notification does not appear.

Conclusion

Personally I do not use Safaricom data but rather use Faida data. Being a heavy data consumer (By the way I use up to 80GB of data every month), I prefer using Faiba because it is much cheaper than Safaricom

As a result of this, I have not encountered this problem because my phone is always connected to a Wi-Fi connection.

Those are the 2 ways to disable Safaricom no active data bundle notification. It this has been helpful, remember to share it with friends

Euro 2020 Final: England face Italy on StarTimes

0

Nairobi, 9th July 2021. After an exhilarating 50 EURO 2020 matches already played, England and Italy will be squaring it out in the Euro 2020 final match slated for Sunday night where the Three Lions will be aiming for a first major tournament win after 55 years bolstered by the major appearance taking place on home soil.

As the official broadcaster of the tournament, pay television platform StarTimes Kenya has dedicated World Football (HD), TV3 and Sports Premium (HD) as the dedicated channels for the broadcast of EURO 2020 final. The channels will have additional offerings including multi-language commentary in English, Kiswahili and French respectively.

The broadcaster will also air the match on StarTimes mobile application – StarTimes ON, where soccer fans will be in a position to stream the EURO 2020 Final on Standard Definition (SD), High Definition (HD) and Ultra High Definition (UHD).

“We are proud to have entertained Kenya’s football enthusiasts throughout this tournament at the comfort of their homes and as we look forward to put icing on the cake during the final, our multiple broadcast platforms namely the aerial, satellite and streaming will beam the game live as the football titans will be squaring it out to be crowned champions of Europe,” noted StarTimes Regional Marketing Director Mr. Aldrine Nsubuga.

The last time England played a final in Wembley was in 1966, when they beat Germany 4-2 to lift the World Cup – for the first and only time – and on Sunday they will be looking to win the Euros for the first time.

To get to the final, the Three Lions had to overcome some stiff opposition in the semi-final from Denmark, who took the lead only to lose to an extra-time penalty scored by England’s captain Harry Kane.

Going into the tournament, Gareth Southgate’s team were the favorites to win and they have looked impressive – particularly in the knock-out rounds. England’s success has been built around a solid defense – that has conceded just once in the six matches at the tournament – and the danger men upfront, Kane and Raheem Sterling.

The two could hardly be more different. Sterling dazzles with his skill and loves to dribble into the box, while Kane is a powerful centre forward who uses his strength and size to be a constant threat.

Italy, meanwhile, earned their place in Sunday’s final with a penalty shoot-out win against Spain, with young goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma being the match winner as he saved Álvaro Morata’s decisive spot-kick.

The Azzurri’s appearance in the final is somewhat of a surprise as they were not considered as one of the top favourites to lift the trophy for just the second time in their history. But victories against the world’s top ranked team, Belgium, and Spain, can leave no doubt that they deserve to be facing England at Wembley in the championship match.

Coach Roberto Mancini has managed to blend the team into a cohesive unit with veterans like Giorgio Chiellini (36 years) and Leonardo Bonucci (34) marshaling the defense, while going forward 23-year old Federico Chiesa and Manuel Locatelli have been impressive.

The match kicks off at 10pm on World Football, TV3 and Sports Premium channels.
