Lipa later Now Offering Cars for Sale on its Platform

Lipa Later is now offering cars for sale on its platform at least by information seen by ShopaXo. According to a sponsored post on Facebook, Lipa Later says you can simply drive your dream car today.

“With 100% financing, we can make your dream car easy and affordable to purchase”, says the post in part.

Customers are encouraged to apply online or call 070968400 for inquiries with a promise to drive off with your car the same day.

Cars on Offer

Among the cars that are available for purchase are a Toyota Fielder, Toyota Vitz, Subaru Outback, Toyota Alphard, Toyota Hilax Double Cabin.

The Toyota Fielder goes for Ksh.60,000.00 per month with the Toyota Vitz will set you back for Ksh. 37,000.00 per month.

The Subaru Outback, Toyota Alphard and the Toyota Hilux Double Cabin with cost Ksh.102,000.00, Ksh. 87,000.00 and Ksh.138.000.00 respectively.

Though the repayment period is not indicated on the post, Lipa later usually have repayments of up to 12 months. However, from the monthly price given, the repayment period could be more than 12 months. For example, a new Toyota Hilux double cabin could cost you up to Ksh. 5,530,000 in Kenya. From this and doing some simple mathematics, it is obvious that the repayment will be more than 12 months. Moreover, Lipa later does not specify whether the cars are brand new or used abroad or even used locally.

It yet to be seen how customers will take this new advert given that most of the view Lipa Later among online Financial platforms that are unregulated hence exploiting buyers.

Lipa later is an online platform that connects buyers and sellers (They have no products of their own). Once your application is accepted, you will be required to pay your monthly installments without fail.

Items on Lipa later are costlier for two reasons, you will be purchasing on higher purchase and Lipa later has to factor in their share of doing business on behalf of the sellers.
