Nairobi, 23rd September 2021. Pay Television Company StarTimes Media has today unveiled annual and quarterly subscription payment options targeting lower package subscribers enrolled to the platform’s Nyota bouquet.

With the monthly Nyota bouquet retailing at Ksh.299 with access to over 20 international channels, subscribers enrolled to the bouquet will now have an option to pay just Ksh. 1,800 annually thereby saving 50% of their annual subscription spend or Ksh. 720 per quarter thereby saving 20% of their quarterly subscription spend on the bouquet.

Speaking while unveiling the plans, StarTimes Regional Marketing Director Mr. Aldrine Nsubuga noted that the move is advised by the brand’s progressive engagement and feedback from subscribers geared towards not only availing competitive bouquet packages but also at the most competitive rates in the market given the prevailing economic conditions.

“The introduction of annual and quarterly subscription options for Nyota bouquet users is guided by the need to offer the same great package at an exceptionally competitive rate which is a development tailored from feedback received from our engagements with subscribers even as we look to sustain our ongoing bouquet improvement efforts through increased diverse genres of local and international content,” noted Mr. Nsubuga.

The new annual and quarterly subscription options for Nyota subscribers add to the existing daily, weekly and monthly options available to StarTimes subscribers across both terrestrial and satellite digital television platforms as the company adds choice and convenience to its subscriber management efforts.

In addition to Nyota bouquet, StarTimes offers other affordable bouquets to its digital terrestrial subscribers ranging from Ksh 599 a month for the Basic bouquet with access to over 40 international channels and Classic at a cost of Ksh 899 per month with access to over 60 international channels.
