Itel Kenya is set to rebrand in a move that will see it bring you more devices to your living room. As companies fight to have a piece of you, Itel Kenya looks to not only bring you mobile devices, but also other electronics.
Itel, a company that has been in the Kenyan market for the last 10 years, is gearing up to officially revamp its brand presence, name, and product line up.
The official rebranding of Itel Kenya is set for 18th September 2020 on an event that will be broadcast on Kenya Television Network ( KTN) and streamed live on its Facebook Page. The will be a rerun of the same program on 19th September 2020 on NTV at 7.30 am.
During the launch, the company says on its Facebook page that it will be introducing the following devices in the Kenyan market.
- Home Appliances –including TVs, and others.
- Their latest smartphones – including the itel S16.
- Wearable devices
One of the devices that the company will launch during the rebranding is the Itel S16. And although the company has not said much about the device, here is what we know so far.
For starters, the Itel S16 comes with a large HD+ screen that has narrow bezels. Second, the device will feature triple rear cameras, with new hardware upgrades from the previous quite popular itel S15 series, which brought 16MP selfie camera lenses. Thirdly, Itel Kenya says that the device comes with improved software.
We are likely to see an upgraded version of the phone, likely a Pro model, that may include a cut-out selfie camera.
Itel Kenya says that the new re-branding brings with it new ambition for the company. Moving forward, customers can expect to buy electronics including, phones, TVs, and wearables from online platforms such as Kilimall, Jumia, and XPark.
As go through the launch, we await to see what itel Kenya will be unveiling in Kenya in days to follow.
