The Huawei Y7P is now available in Kenya after Huawei introduced it, making it the latest mid-range phone to hit the Kenyan market lately.
It seems that phone manufacturers are fighting for the Kenyan market, as the mid-range phones are the most sold in Kenya. The phone comes in several colors such as the midnight black and Aurora. Moreover, at the purchase of this phone, you get a free Huawei Band e as a gift in the box.
We wrote compressively about the device here, if you did not read the post, it will please you to know that the phone comes with a 6.39-inch HD+ display, with 720 x 1560 pixels resolution, with over 82 percent screen to body ratio.
What’s more? The display is an IPS LCD panel and has a punch hole notch atop the screen, where the front-facing camera is usually placed. Besides this, the phone comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage, although another region has up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and a Mali-G51 GPU for graphics.
It is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 710F CPU that we recently saw on Huawei 10 plus and the recently launched Huawei Y9s.
If you are not aware, the SoC has 8-cores of CPUs separated into two clusters of four cores each. The first cluster has 4-Cortex-A73 clocked at 2.2GHz, while the second cluster has 4-Cortex-A53 clocked at just 1.7GHz.
You purchase this phone on Jumia Kenya at Ksh. 18,499.00.
