I wrote more about this phone here and you can find more specifications there. That said, Huawei has continued to defy the storm from Uncle Sam and released several devices to the market.

Even with President Trump relaxing the ban, the future seemingly looks uncertain. You and I know that Huawei has been producing some of the best devises in the market giving Samsung and Apple a run for their money.

During the pre-order period, over 15000 pre-orders were made, a sign that customers have a trust in the company.

Something positive to note is that the phone comes with all Google services, and necessary Google apps installed. It still has Facebook pre-installed, and Huawei continues to assure customers that the devices will continue to receive updates.

We are yet to see how customers are going to take Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 in Kenya. Though all signs show that it is a device that will sell.

Pricing

The phone is selling at Ksh 24,999.00 on Jumia(Buy for less here) and you can get it at a cheaper price if you are lucky to have a voucher especially during this anniversary. If you don’t like Jumia, then you can try out Masoko or Huawei own branded shops nearest to you.
