Glovo, the Spanish delivery company has introduced Glovo Prime in Kenya with a promise for unlimited free deliveries in Kenya during the festivities.
According to the company, users in Kenya will use the service free this December to make unlimited deliveries on orders made in stores and restaurants.
Priscilla Muhiu, General Manager, Glovo Kenya, said, “We want to provide Glovo users with solutions that are practical and that help them in their daily lives. That is why this holiday season we want to give back to our users with the Glovo Prime service and offer them the opportunity to test the service free. This month of testing allows them to try the experience of ordering unlimited, without paying delivery fees.”
Glovo Prime in Kenya is a subscription service where you pay a monthly fee to get unlimited deliveries in a month.
It works just like Jumia Prime where purchases made from stores, can be delivered to you using Jumia Prime.
For Glovo, participating stores have a purple icon highlighted, indicating you can ship using them. Subscription for the month goes for Ksh.1000.00.
This promotion seeks to net more customers for the company. Glovo says that both members and non-members can use the service free this month. However, those that are not members will have to register to continue using the service in January.
Glovo has continued to expand its presence in the country, the latest being establishing a base in Eldoret where it seeks to tap into the market in the town.
