What you need to know about transacting on M-Pesa in 2019.

Even as we talk about Mpesa rates, there are a few things you need to know. Though there a few things that have changed, much remains the same.

Have a look.

  1. Your M-Pesa wallet can hold upto a maximum of Ksh. 100,000.00.
  2. You can send a maximum Ksh. 140,000.00. However you need to do this in two transactions of Ksh.70,000.00 each.
  3. The minimum you can send at Ksh. 50.00.
  4. You cannot deposit directly to someone else’s M-Pesa Wallet.
  5. Nowadays M-pesa will not ask for a physical ID card, but will enter your id number to complete the transaction.
  6. M-Pesa transactions, earn you bong points.
  7. With Fuliza, you do not have to worry about the money in your wallet. You can borrow from Fuliza to complete the transaction.
  8. With Mpesa global, you can send and receive money to other countries.

Conclusion.

Today we cannot do without M-Pesa for we do almost all our transactions on phone. I did write about Mpesa App and how smartphones are changing the way we transact on Mpesa.

But do we really have to worry about Mpesa rates with the introduction of Fuliza?

I leave that to you to decide.

Happy M-Pesaring!
